The CT3024 High Speed Camera offers multi-frame, high resolution 2.3MP imaging stills photography for use in extreme environments and is ideal for use in research applications and marine life observation. Frame rates are adjustable between 1fps and 116fps at full resolution offering exceptional quality and opportunities for precision data recording.
The system permits the viewing, recording and playback of fast moving underwater objects even as extreme as propellers to show cavitation, with no need to worry about ‘motion blur’. The use of the compatible LED underwater light provides illumination of the subject area, thus allowing close and detailed examinations.
Designed and rated to 300m (although greater depths are possible) the High Speed Camera System comprises a titanium camera housing coupled with an underwater LED light, a surface control console and a Kevlar reinforced fibre-optic umbilical cable assembly (length to be specified).
The Surface Controller permits setting of Frame speed via touch screen. It houses the fibre-optic converter to the control system to USB connections. The system records via a laptop or computer with min. specification of Intel i5 2.5GHz, min 16GB DDR4 memory, min 500GB solid state drive, min of 2x USB3 ports (not supplied unless requested).
