Description

Buckleys manufacture two types of spark tester which provide a quick and convenient method of checking the integrity and locating defects in a variety of coatings. Spark Testers generate AC voltages of typically between 10 and 55kV. They are used for testing thicker coatings and linings of between 3mm and 30mm.

Spark Testers have no audible or visual alarms to indicate a fault and rely on the operator to observe a
spark jumping through a flaw in the coating material. Due to their AC high-frequency operation, they can
find faults in 100% coated articles.
